Ted’s Auto Clinic Warranty

WARRANTY: Our warranty provides a limited 2-year or 24,000-mile parts and labor warranty, whichever comes first. This covers defects in materials (defective parts) or workmanship. Client invoices will indicate if this warranty applies. *Limits and Conditions apply.

BRAKES:  Brake repairs come with a limited 2-year or 24,000-mile parts and labor warranty, whichever comes first. This covers defects in materials (defective parts) or workmanship. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, corrosion from environmental factors, or issues caused by external parts (parts not replaced by Ted’s Auto Clinic). Client invoices will indicate if this warranty applies. *Limits and Conditions apply.

BATTERIES:  Batteries come with a limited 3-year or 36,000-mile parts and labor warranty, whichever comes first. This covers defects in materials (defective parts) or workmanship. The warranty does not cover defects or excessive wear due to client failure to provide reasonable maintenance, such as exposure to moisture, excessive vibrations, rough driving conditions, or extended inactivity. We recommend using a battery tender or trickle charger to maintain battery health. Client invoices will specify if this warranty applies. *Limits and Conditions apply.

TIRE WARRANTY:  General and Continental tires purchased at Ted’s Auto Clinic come with a limited 1-year road hazard warranty (within the first 2/32nds of an inch of treadwear). The first year includes full replacement if a tire that is found to be unrepairable. More details can be found at: https://www.continental-tires.com/ or https://generaltire.com/. Tires are registered with the Illinois Department of Transportation. The warranty does not cover damage from abuse, accidents, vandalism, or failure to provide reasonable maintenance. *LIMITS AND CONDITIONS:  Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear, corrosion from environmental factors, or issues caused by external parts (parts not replaced by Ted’s Auto Clinic). Ted’s Auto Clinic reserves the right to void warranties if there is evidence of; abuse, accidents, modifications, vandalism, or failure to provide reasonable maintenance. Repairs performed by others on the same parts or systems as work done by Ted’s Auto Clinic will void the warranty. Warranties are void if the vehicle lacks a working odometer at the time of service or warranty claim. Only Ted’s Auto Clinic may perform warranty repairs, and we do not cover repairs performed elsewhere. Clients are responsible for transporting the vehicle to our facility at 7853 W Forest Preserve Dr, Chicago, IL, for warranty repairs.
