This was my first time using an auto shop instead of the dealership. I did it because I felt like the dealership was making up things that were wrong with my car just to make money. So I looked up auto shops near me and this place had good reviews so I figured I’d try it out. Right away I clicked with George in the office. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and we vibed on the show Seinfeld. I told him I needed a Puddy except don’t steal my car😂 He kept my car for a 1/2 day to check for anything that concerned him as well as fixed my brake light that the dealership said would cost thousands. When all was said and done he fixed everything and gave me a few tips for less than 5% of what the dealership was going to charge me. I’m now a loyal customer and will most definitely refer anyone that needs an auto shop here! If you are reading this review and are debating trying them out, just go in and talk to George and I’m sure you’ll see what I’m talking about!

I love the text option for updates, estimates, payment and general questions. This convenience and customer service is refreshing. I've brought in 3 different cars from my family and I always feel that I get the straight story on the issue. They look at the cars holistically, I recent bought a used mini cooper with only 36k miles, during the negotiations to purchase the car, I brought a mechanic with me and he said the mini would need a new battery, brakes, tires, oil/filter change and wheel alignment, but that the engine was in great shape When I brought the mini to Ted's they told me the exact same thing, it was reassuring that they identified the same issues and didn't add anything else that I was not expecting based on my mechanic's initial assessment. Ted's is pricey as compared to other neighborhood auto shops, but you get quality, honesty and great customer service. It's hard to find good mechanics as their seems to be a shortage nationwide, it seems like Ted's has stability with their mechanics and I respect they work 7:30-5pm weekly and are closed on weekends. This tells me that the employees are happy and if they are, then so are their customers.

He gave me everything I asked for and shows you your car inspection so you decide what you wanna do.George is amazing at response with emails and his website for appointments is awesome. Wow!!! I've never ever had this positive of a car mechanic experience. It started with ease of booking an appointment online. I added notes to my appointment and George (owner) actually read them before I arrived. Their waiting room was clean and comfortable and welcoming. George took time to learn about me and my vehicle. They did a great initial assessment of my vehicle's health and gave me sound guidance on what is more important to worry about sooner than later. The estimates for the items they flagged were very reasonable as I've had some of them quoted before. Professional, competent, honest, courteous. What more could you ask for? Seriously ? take your car here. You'll be glad you did. Oh?. 5 minutes after I left George called me to let me know he realized he overcharged me by $3 (2 bulbs instead of 1) and that he'd be refunding me that amount. Ted's auto clinic is a shining star for how all mechanics should operate.

One of the sensors in my car failed on July 1. I called Teds Auto Clinic, To see if I could drop off the car thinking that they would not be able to work on it until after the Holiday. However, I was pleasantly surprised that they could repair it before the holiday. Found this place through a FB post and I am so glad that I chose them to service my vehicle. I stopped by for an oil change, knowing I may have a slight leak. I expected to be told that I had this super expensive repair needed due to the leak and that if I didn't take care of it right then and their that my car would blow up with all 5 children even though I only have 2 ( inserted for comedic value but we all know it's true and have received that call. Instead they completed my service, notified me of the issue and gave me a few suggestions. My bill included an estimate for the necessary service that he suggested be done in the future. They also shared with me some of the complimentary services I could stop in for if need be. It was such a relief to leave with just what I came in for and that is all! I will use them for any future need and highly recommend them!

I am a new customer at Teds and took my work vehicle in for a loud noise coming from the belt area etc. As a new customer Teds will do a complete diagnosis and check of your vehicle, give you the breakdown of what is needed and what they see as something to lookout for, basically a Priority List with advice. I love that so one can plan out and or stay ahead of the game which will make your vehicle last the longest etc. I had a bad alternator which was put in just 2 years ago at another local shop, turns out that alternator was remanufactured lol and very known for issues amd Teds stays away from this brand etc. I had a few other issues with the vehicle that was completely missed by the other guys as well. I hands down would recommend Teds for your vehicle services 1000%.

I would highly recommend Teds Auto Clinic. This is my first experience with them after a recommendation from a neighbor. My experience from the first phone call to picking up the car after it had been repaired was an excellent experience. George is very thorough in explaining what needs to be repaired, gives accurate quotes and timelines for when it will be completed. They replaced my radiator, hoses and serviced the entire cooling system of my 2004 Jeep. It limped in and is now running like a tank again. Thanks to George and all the whole team of mechanics!

Suuuuuuperb customer service! The majority of my co-workers come here. My Civic is close to the ending the 3 yr warranty and I didn't want to be bamboozled in the dealer to being suggested to get other maintenance that wasn't needed so I went to ted's for a second opinion. They helped me out and guided me on what my civic may need in the future as well as my moms CR-V and even helped install high speed mud flaps. When going to a mechcanic, let's be honest most of us hold our breath and cross are fingers. Hoping we can escape with the best possible outcome, and that's because we really dont know whats wrong, how much it will cost, and if that cost is a fair market price. So you to an extent have to blindly trust the shop you bring your car to. I can tell you that Ted's auto is five star in your ability to trust there estimates and work, and five star in their professionalism. George is always friendly and professional, Chris is also. Where other shops make promises they won't keep just to get your bussiness, Ted's Auto shoots from the hip and will tell you exactly where things stand after looking at your automobile. Their prices are fair there work is great and their loyalty is top notch. Through doing bussiness with them my father became friends with them and I now consider them friends, which is the feeling you get from most customers when you see them come in. I had just moved into the neighborhood down the street from Ted's Auto Clinic and decided to give them a try last month for a few repairs I had been putting on the back burner over on my Dodge SUV. George was able to quickly provide an estimate was also able to diagnose and suggest a few other items that needed attention. He was super knowledgeable and easy to work with. After looking and trying different auto mechanics for the past couple of years i finally found this awesome place, this is not your typical auto repair shop were the chances of getting ripoff are very high, even at big name dealer ships you get played sometimes, if not most of the time. This guys are true professionals, i met George and he is such a straight forward guy, he is not about the easy money, instead he makes sure you get done in your vehicle what you really need and if he does not see a point of getting it done he will tell you. He had a huge opportunity to charge me a ton on a somewhat major break job for my 1997 honda odyssey and of course he didn't because they are not opportunist like some other places are. He will take the time to explain and make sure you understand the situation and all the vehicle's issues. I was amazed on how professional, courteous, friendly and sincere he was as well as his brother. Is like i knew him for years and i barely met him. This place is truly one of a kind, i can highly recommend it, give them a chance to care for your vehicle, you will not be disappointed at all. #1 auto place!
